Hi Laurent
I haven't forgot you regarding your question to who have formatted and installed the external Fujitsu M2263SA harddrive for my CMI III. I just haven't got a reply from the former owner yet.
Best regards

Hello Brian,

I think I begin to understand... From KMI web site, the procedure is
explained
and it is specified that the HD has to be hard-formated with 256 bytes
blocks.

I looked at the Fujitsu M2263SA Specifications and it allow formatting
with
blocks from 180 bytes or bigger. I understand why I could not succeed
with
the Seagate ST15150N. It only allow 512 bytes blocks or bigger...

I do have Release 9.34 installation floppy discs. I'll try to find a
Fujitsu HD.
Then I'll do some experiments and I'll let you know...

Regards.

Laurent.
