Good point. I didn't think of that...and I recently had an audio multitrack that was the same age (about 25 years old) transferred to digital, and they had to bake the tape.

Does anyone know of a similar service in the USA?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
