I presume this is the quote from the seller ? Shop around with FedEx and
tell them the weight and outside dimensions. They'll probably give you a
better price. Then you might ask the seller what the cost for the crating
is.

A large flightcase with 48 Kg of total weight with FedEx from the US to
Europe would cost around $330,- shipping. Flightcase around $300.

Does anyone have a good address for flightcases in the US ? I'm in the
process of shipping my Fairlight.
