Hi Tony. Connections as follows: 9-pin 2 to DIN pin 4 (MIDI+) 9-pin 4 to DIN 5 (MIDI-) 9-pin 5 to DIN 2 (Ground). Use screened (mic) cable. Keep the lead less than 10 metres!
