Thankyou James, and all the other Fairlight community folk who have posted these kind words. 

As a bit of backround, after working with Peter Gabriel in the late 1970s, I was fortunate to work at the Fairlight factory in Sydney through most of the 1980s. This was an amazing company at a very interesting time - the very birth of sampling. 

Sampling changed the face of music forever. 

I am still as passionate about this "old" technology now as I was then, and have a small business supporting what I believe to be legendary musical instruments. There will be a website soon at : www.horizontalproductions.com.au
