That's fantastic news. Thanks for investing the time and resources to test this out.

Do you mind sharing the info on how one has to make the cable to connect the HxC with the IIx?

I'm guessing that this would be the right HxC model?: http://www.lotharek.pl/product.php?pid=42

Am I right that once I'd put your cmi_sysv20.hfe image on a HxC I can use it, as is, and boot the IIx from it? Or do the sides still need to be swapped?

I want to sort everything out before I decide to buy an HxC and hack into my IIx.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
