I totally agree with Frank here - I recently replaced some lights and found that removing the keyboard cover, removing the pitchwheel controller assembly, and then unscrewing the housing from the buttons was much less stressful than trying to go in "from the outside". The bonus to this is that you'll get to clean out any junk that's accumulated inside your keyboard over the years :-). Happy new year!
