Fairlight-CMI

Hi Guys,

 I have just joined the Fairlight CMI group so I thought I would just  
introduce myself. I run a small business here in London U.K. 
called Magic Audio Co. I have just recently bought a CMI series 
11X, CMI series 111 ( 9.34 ) and a CMI series 111 / MFX 2 ( 
11.40 )
 I am in the process of configuring my 4 gig hard drives so that I 
can remove the old drives from the mainframes. My CMI 11X has 
had to go into storage because I simply do not have the room at 
the moment.
 I have so far found the Fairlight community to be very helpful.
I still have to pinch myself that I finally own a Fairlight . I saw a 
CMI series 111 at the APRS show in 1986 at  Earls Court here in 
London. I think the price was £ 60,000 at the time. The CMI I was 
looking at was probably a Rev 5.03 so I dread to think what it 
cost to eventually bring it up to 9.34 with all the options.
 Anyway I look forward to participating in this forum.
