Another idea: I don't think the MFX-2 translates (fully) to MIDI. What I
*could* imagine is the box translating the signal from the "Synchronizer"
connector (could be Sony 9pin, couldn't it?) to some sort of MIDI Time
Code. Or it could be used to operate the sequencer from the MFX transport
controls in a similar fashion. Does the CMI react to MTC?
