Subject: RE: [Fairlight-CMI] Re: Series III on eBayI sincerely think he is genuine, but without a clue. His rating seems VERY good within eBay.I did put in an offer if it doesn't sell, but he rejected. It's essentially half a Series III with no software rev updates. BTW, does anyone recognise the software revision of the machine (4.c5.r1.13)? If anyone who buys this and is wanting to bring it to top spec will have to spend a fortune. Something he doesn't realise...P-----Original Message-----Hi Peter,

Don't make him smarter than he is !
If he's a con, he should remain dumb, otherwise he should educate himself
a bit more if he wants to earn $$ on a Fairlight.
Has anyone asked him for the serial number yet ?
This should prove interesting...
