not too bad an investment. It looks in really good condition, and 
looks as though it works.

I mean, if you compare it with the IIx, for example which only has 
eight channels, its not a bad deal.

Indeed, but I was specifically looking for a IIx when I bought it.

I think the keyboard and parts alone for the 8 channel Series III machine
is a good value. I didn't buy it either by the way :-).
