wow James,
now that's a long-shot !  the only people I know of who owned the
special series IIL were Queen or used it (Kendall Wrightson from Syco
in the BBC video who no longer knows what happened to the one he was
demoing in '85 - I spoke to him several months ago by e-mail regarding
that Series IIL) He mentioned Roger Bolton in the UK might know what 
happened to it.

I dare say, best of luck to you in finding info on the rare IIL.
That would seem to me to be as rare as finding a working
PPG Realizer in the local thrift shop ! :-)

my apologies for mentioning names here if people don't want
to, it's just that I hope to preserve CMI info and it is often
so frustrating & secretive amongst us few fans/users left.

of course, Peter Wielk would know about the series IIL
and I think some posts on the Holmes page a few years ago were
on this topic.
