The whole OS-9 filesystem (RBF) is based on 24-bit addresses for OS-9
sectors (256 bytes). One could implement a JKERNEL SCSI-driver
extension (for the wavesuper) in order to "fake" multiple 4GB drives
from one large drive >>4GB, though.
As far as I know, MFX3 supported a new filesystem ("FLFS") for
partitions with up to 200GB.
I use a SCSI DVD-ROM drive with my MFX2 system (Rev11+). A regular
DVD-R can hold a complete 4GB OS-9 partition. Such a configuration is
very flexible: one system drive, one 4GB work drive, and one DVD-
drive for libraries etc.
