Hi to anyone with a spare moment or two, as well as imagination and
humour, it might interest you to copy  this link to have a read
of this word doc "series four and Beyond" a creative attempt to
pioneer the next gereration of Fairlight CMI instruments.
(someone challenged me to do it!!! )
This doc was pened about 22 mths ago.. it was sent to various R & D
dept of various  keyboard manufacturers..
currently there is one keyboard on the market"mirage?oasis?" whatever,
which claims to have been 10 years in the making, what a load of hogwash..
it does bare some similarity to this concept..10 years in the making
?? i cooked this one up over a cup of coffee in 10 minutes..
The Fairlight advertising catch phrase"LIGHT YEARS AHEAD"
i suppose then that ONE light year minute, equals ONE year in Retard &
Dunce land.
truly todays R & D depts are more "Ripoff and Dilute"... ive yet to
see anything that warms my cockles as the origional IIX..
this Oasys thingy could have at least incorporated the NEC VERSA T400
tablet (slate form) as its interface, then you may be getting
something for
your money..but then it would have been to much of an "EMULATOR V"
there is no need for another Emulator but the world really screams for
another FAIRLIGHT SERIES FOUR>>
