Hi Sven -
I remember the issues I had with this. So much trouble in fact, that when I got the answers I wrote my own extra pages (Word docs) for the IIx manual (see attached).

unfortunately there is no option to copy a System Disk. The back-up option
and the copy disk option seems only to work for sound disks.

Do you have by any chance any other hint?
