Price seems a bit high considering no cables/discs and verification if it works.

Sopmehow I'd be more reserved, first, the guy doesn't know the name (mark II?),
and writes about series III... caution advised...

Are the missing cables available these days?  Also, assuming it works when 
linked up, it'd be necessary for the buyer to come to some arrangement with 
another Fairlight owner to make copies of the software.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone makes him an offer for it for spare 
parts, but I may possibly think about travelling down to his part of the 
country for it if it might be possible to get it working.

The cables would be inexpensive and not to difficult to make.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
