Hi Peter,

Me too!

You're most welcome - I'm just the bringer of the good news. I had no
hand in it otherwise :)

Did you notice no mod wheels on his keyboard - looked like sliders
with no springs as well. Was this usual?

Cheers

Chris

Yes the IIx keyboards all had 3 sliders and 2 buttons
that were assignable to many different functions.
I am seeing allot more use of the IIx and series III
lately, The Pet Shop Boys new album will be out soon I
they stated in a recent article that they were going
to be using a IIx on the new release. It's all good
news for fairlight fans.

Allthough I have not done this on my IIx, Similar to
kyma on the IIx you can remove of of the even or odd
harmonics in the sample.

Question about what to look for in a MFX3

2006-06-23 by kevin kelley

I have seen several MFX-3's on ebay going cheap
recently I was interested in picking up a MFX3 for my
project studio. I have an older yamaha digital console
that outputs AES at 20 bit and was wondering if this
would fit into the I/O scheme of the MFX?
If purchasing an MFX unit what should a buyer be
aware of; software rev, I/O cables, I/O cards, HD ??
if anyone on this list has one and would like to
share what they know please contact me with any
information you can offer.

Hi David,

I have done this effect several times, IIRC the effect is done (via resynthese) by following commands:

Page 5; Analyse all segments: A,*
Compute all segments: C,*

That´s it. Is there anything I have forgotten? :-)

Cheers,
Alexander
