Fairlight IIx factory disks

Fairlight IIx factory disks

2006-12-16 by kevin kelley

Due to today's run of emails I felt compelled to play
my IIx for a while and see what it was that I love SO
much about the IIx. The sound is amazing, No noise
like my emax or mirage just great samples. Dark is a
word I would use due to the fact that I am in a
industrial/synth pop band. No matter what there is
nothing that sounds anything like the IIx. It is very
inspiring. I have access to a large number of synths
and this one is special.

Kevin, did you ever complete the sale of your IIx from the museum?

Cheers,
Scott
