Life is TOO SHORT!!!!!

Life is TOO SHORT!!!!!

I can see that this forum is becoming a division of the Fairlight
haves and have nots.
We all came to this post because the Fairlight CMI triggers something
special for us. Whether it be its grandeur, technologicl brilliance,
its sonic aura or that it gives us good memories of an era gone by.
The fact of the matter is we are all share a common interest in the
Fairlight CMI, and we would like to continue to foster its use and
keep it relevant in music production today.

It is apparent that not all members are Fairlight owners, myself
included. They may not own a Fairlight because of affordabilty, or
that they cannot find one to purchase due to scarcity. I am trying to
find one in Melbourne Australia, the birth country of the Fairlight
CMI, but I'm having no luck.
Nevertheless judging from some posts, the people who do not own a
Fairlight CMI are equally fascinated by the Series IIx and Series III
and wish to incorporate these sounds into their music composition.

I have made posts in the past requesting help to obtain Farlight
sound samples. These requests fell on deaf ears and some replies were
hostile as these indivduals jealously guard what they've got.
How's about a little philanthropy in this forum? I'm sure this would
not hurt.

Where are we going to be in 50 years? Some of us may be here others
will not.

Life is TOO SHORT to be possessive over such things!
