One method that would work excellent to hold the tip in place would
be to use a substance called J-B Industro Weld. It comes in two
toothpaste-size tubes. One contains liquid steel/epoxy resin, and the
other contains a hardening agent. When mixed together in equal
portions, a chemical reaction occurs that turns the mixture into a
compound as hard and tough as steel -- and with similar properties. I
can't think of a better permanent solution for the problem. I was
considering the purchase of Peter's Series III some time ago, and had
planned to use this very same product to fix the G-pen.
Good luck, and enjoy the machine!
