How to ship a Fairlight III system correctly

Go to your local shipper after getting 3 competitive bids. Ask for a single box on a skid. Double corrugated box with 3inches of dense foam on all sides, have them bag and seal components placing the music keyboard on top of the mainframe. They will then use metal or plastic binding straps on the outside of the box. Mark this side up on the top. It cost me approx. $477 to send from Nashville to Washington State. This included boxing, shipping costs, and $10,000.00 in insurance. The unit arrived about 7 days later unharmed. There is a picture in the album called shipping. Thanks to Rob Jarrett for making this a smooth transaction and pleasure to deal with. I wish everyone was as nice as Rob. -Mark Riddick Hurricane Valley Music.
