Hi, What sequencing software does everyone use with their Fairlights, ie Cubase, Logic, RS, Page R, CAPS, etc? Caps appears to be long winded and complicated, what do you reckon? I only had a quick look at it the other day, so didn't really dig deep into it... Cheers, Peter

Hi there : I am using Cubase SX at the moment as I'm still on a learning curve with the fairlight (to say the least) I can imagine caps offers a much better range of options and system specific tricks, but unforunately I have to work in a collaberative environment, and unless everyone else buys a fairlight to, Id better stick to midi files. LOL. I havent got into controller information and so on yet > Ill report back on how easy it is when I found out how to do it. --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, "Peter Connelly \(Core Design Ltd.\)" <PeterC@C...> wrote: > Hi, > > What sequencing software does everyone use with their Fairlights, ie Cubase, Logic, RS, Page R, CAPS, etc? > > Caps appears to be long winded and complicated, what do you reckon? Hi Peter
I normally use Logic Platinum (PC-version – I’m one of the customers feeling angry at Emagic/Apple – but that´s another story). I have used RS – just to try it out, it’s very funny and swings fantastic – try it – it has a special “touch and feel”. Before Logic I was using Cubase VST and Cakewalk – and before that I was using a DOS-based sequencerprogram called Texture.
Sincerely
Klaus
