Hi,

I thought I'd better just verify I'm doing this correctly - Is the safest way to shut down a Series III by quitting to Shell then switching off system or doesn't it matter???

Hi Peter - I believe you have described the best way to shut down cmi - 
quit to shell before powering down. hope you are having fun with your 
machine.
