Hi Peter,

What do you anticipate pricing will be for these? Also warranty and suggestions to back up
for data that would be stored on these drives?

Cheers

Hi Peter,

Thanks a lot for sharing this with us !!!

Do you think the bandwidth of this SCSI adaptor would be able to record with a 24 tracks Mfx3+ ?

Kind regards.

Hi Greg, Laurent. I'm still working out prices. One part I use, the SCSI bridge, lists for $250, so it won't be super-cheap.

It'll probably be around $475 for the enclosure, and about $100 for each 4 Gbyte plug-in memory module.

It's intended to be used in the same way you'd use a USB stick. For convenience rather than long-term back-up. Hard drives, tape and CD/DVD are still the way to go for this.

Regarding speed, It SHOULD be faster than a hard drive, but I'll check on my MFX3+

As far as support, everything I supply comes with 3-months warranty.

I also have one as the main drive on a board inside the digital cardcage of another system. It works fast and quiet, so you can get rid of another two cooling fans. See the new uploaded picture.....

Hope this is helpful,

Regards,

Peter Wielk

Thanks for the Support.
