Nice, It's a treasure of difference timbres from the few tapes I've heard in 2001. It's been long enough where I don't remember the sound types. I have not tapped into the majority of the library as the streamer I purchased from Peter never worked. My current machine does not have an internal streamer and I need to purchase a good working one to hear the majority of the library. The few tapes I listened to where back in 2001 which is the eBay machine which has a internal streamer. Once I get a good working tape drive I can give everyone a good idea of all the sounds on the library's and how it may equate to ZZTops songs. I was thinking of keeping the machine but It was not that big a deal as I already had another series III. The good thing for everyone else is I may in the future make some of the ZZTop sounds avalible to users in this group. It looks like we now have confirmation that my machine is from ZZ Top. Of course, it appears Greg kept all the ZZ Top sounds so it doesn't much matter. Thanks, Peter, for the clarification. It seems to be beyond Greg's powers of logic and reasoning that the person he sold his Fairlight to might have later sold it to someone else, so I am glad that you chimed in. I sold it Erik from New York. I kept all the good ZZTop sounds, most are on streaming tape. Funny, I purchased a external streamer and it didn't work so I still have all of these ZZ tapes and have not heard them. > > > > Does anyone have any internal or maybe external streamers for a Series III to sale? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
