Re: New pictures for the new year .....

Hi Howard! Good to hear from you. I'm afraid my list of owners serial numbers has been lost after many relocations. Regarding the keyboard question: You can't directly swap a III into a IIX, however you can easily use a III as a MIDI keyboard by making up a small 9-pin to DIN lead (I'm sure I've posted the pinouts a dozen times). If you're really adventurous, you can put a mains power supply and a DIN socket into your III keyboard, and use it as a standalone MIDI controller. Hopefully catch up with you in NY July, best, Peter. --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, "Howard Smith" wrote:

Some new pictures from Horizontal in Sydney. Lots going on here. I've almost finished "downgrading" an MFX3+ to a series III. Good fun if you consider only about 250 series IIIs were made, yet there are probably thousands of MFX3s, which are sadly not being used.... If anyones interested, I have also have a very cheap MFX3+ on the bay of E .. It's at: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230913861214?ssPageName=STRK:MESCX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1557.l2649#ht_1860wt_1343 > > >
