Using CAPS & RS

Using CAPS & RS

2004-03-15 by Peter Connelly (Core Design Ltd.)

Hi all,

I have only briefly dabbled with both of these (CAPS seems to be the most fiddliest), but couldn't record in pitchbend information. I assume it is a little more complicated than just moving it when recording???!!!??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Peter

hi peter - first assign controller # to instrument file on fx page -
(kbrd button F7 or F8 - should be explicitly shown - you probably know
but when you press cntrl or shift on any page "F" keys have additional
functions). on RS MIDI page assign controler# to instrument by
highlighting contrl # on specific instrument.(again find these
functions on fx and rs using shift). view cntrl and swith info on edit
page (of RS) thruogh one of the "F" keys not sure 8 or 9. you can view
number values for midi info in left column on RS - ithink its F2 - also
should be pretty clear which one - this info should be in command
summary- let me know if you need one. hope this helps - keep rockin
