I'm
slowly unravelling the potential of the Series III. I've still yet to
suss how to use the FFT section. It looked so easy when that guy from
Syco demonstrated it on the IIL. The Series III seems a lot more
complicated.

but when you press cntrl or shift on any page "F" keys have additional
functions). on RS MIDI page assign controler# to instrument by
highlighting contrl # on specific instrument.(again find these
functions on fx and rs using shift). view cntrl and swith info on edit
page (of RS) thruogh one of the "F" keys not sure 8 or 9. you can view
number values for midi info in left column on RS - ithink its F2 - also
should be pretty clear which one - this info should be in command
