Series I sounds....

Series I sounds....

2004-03-28 by edamjr

Hi folks,

Does anyone by any miracle have any Series I sound disks? I have the
system & QDOS disks (thank the Goddess, and Jean-Bernard!)... but
that's all, folks. I'm taking my Series I to the VCF-East (Vintage
Computer Festival), where I predict it will be a hit, and I'd like to
have at least a couple of original Fairlight sounds to exhibit...

Cheers

I have a set of Series II disks which I believe are compatible.. If someone can confirm this then I may be able to help you out. I'm in CT so it shouldn't be too much trauma..

cheers,

Rob

Hi Mike
i have a full set of Series I disks (20 i believe still in Fairlight Boxes) and a "spare" series 1 (no less),... that has provided bits for my Series IIX,... downside is i am in Australia,.. but if you want the disks (which i do not need),.. then i am sure we could come to some arrangement,... (or anyone else out there!)
Cheers

Rob,

I emailed you about this, but no reply - perhaps you didn't get it.
Very interested in pursuing this, I'm just down the road in
Westchester, 4 miles from the CT border!

Please get in touch - email me at mross666 at hotmail dot com - the
easiest way to find out if the disks work is for me to pop round to
your place, borrow a disk, and try it! :-)

Cheers

Mike

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
