The drill stand works really well.
I just put a few blocks of wood/shims under the PCB or workpiece to bring it up to within a few mm from the bit then push down gently on the top cantilever (not the bottom or the Dremel pops out of the top)
It is just that the Dremel and its collets are very inaccurate for this type of work. Probably great for hand held grinding and the like.
