For my CNC machine I went with an air micro-die-grinder instead, much less runout. http://www.delorie.com/photos/cnc/img_2604.html But even with the dremel's runout, the only times I broke drill bits was when I dropped them or did something stupid with them. I never broke one by drilling, although getting the hole in the right spot was sometimes tricky, even with drill helpers.
