Inkjet Transparency

Are inkjet transparencies normally cloudy in appearance? I am
concerned that diffusion of the light could cause features to washout.

The gelatine coated ones can get a bit cloudy from humidity absorbtion,
but i've never had a problem with it blocking uv.

I am more concerned about light scattering. Is there a clear type of
inkjet transparency?

All the epsons one were, but i don't know if they still make it. The crappier
ones like HP have a sandpaper-like coating, but still work to a degree.

The ones I get from Mega Electronics are clear.
