Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Has anybody ever had any compatibility problems with this drive. I just bought a spindle of DVDs that gives me an "internal hardware" message after burning for a little while. No problems with CDs. I happen to have a DVR 108 in a PC at home which also have problems with this particular "no name" brand. I also have a ASUS laptop which burns the DVDs without any problems so it's no because the DVDs simple don't work.
I have already bought a spindle of Verbatims to see if that solves the problem but I wonder if anybody else has had similar experiences. There´s still warranty on the drive so it's no big deal just a bit strange because I have never had any problems before.
