Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

i have a Powerbook G4 (1.67 GHz w/ 1 GB RAM).
with this computer, is it honestly possible to use several plugins, VSTs, etc to do a full 
production (recording mostly 2 tracks at a time) but mixing 20-30?
if so, what else is necessary? a PCMICA card for an extra-FireWire port? how many external 
hard drives? (one for samples? one for audio?)...
let me know who is successfully doing kickin' productions w/ this current set up-- using 
their G4 powerbook as their only CPU.
