Same here. I THINK (dont quote my last two brain cells) Apple simply 
stopped supporting the blue keys if you hadnt yet upgraded to 7 by the 
date they announced. Meaning anyone asking after that date would pretty 
much have to buy a new full license to get Logic.

I cant remember exactly what Apple stated about it, but Markus 
(Emagic/Apple/SoundDiver Wiz) came on OSXAudio.com at the time and 
clarified it, that those of us with blue keys that had in fact already 
upgraded to 7 would be in the clear but anyone that hadnt yet was SOL. 
There were alot of us freaking out about it and thankfully he popped in 
to clear up the confusion.
