Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

This is strange. I definately purchased an academic version and remember seeing 
"Academic" in the splash screen in the past. I hadn't noticed recently, but after several 
upgrades of v.7 plus two replaced dongles, the "academic" splash screen is now gone and 
the newest dongle has "retail" imprinted on the back.

Does this mean that getting a new dongle promotes you to the "retail" class?
