I checked monitoring off in all the programs and just connected only inputs to the USB interface. Still the same. As I am typing this a day later, I reinstalled the 10.4.11 update and I think the issue went away. Here is what I ran into, kinda funny. Ran disk utility and found an error on the drive. My back up had the same error and I could not boot from it. Fixed the error, ran a new clean backup and reinstalled the update. After 17.min, I think my issue was solved. I did read on the forums about Logic having static issues with Alesis USB hardware and some M-audio.
