I checked monitoring off in all the programs and just connected only
inputs to the USB interface. Still the same. As I am typing this a day
later, I reinstalled the 10.4.11 update and I think the issue went
away.  Here is what I ran into, kinda funny.  Ran disk utility and
found an error on the drive.  My back up had the same error and I
could not boot from it.  Fixed the error, ran a new clean backup and
reinstalled the update.  After 17.min, I think my issue was solved.  I
did read on the forums about Logic having static issues with Alesis
USB hardware and some M-audio.  They stated the issue was with the
Leopard 10.5 USB drivers.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
