Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I tried importing audio from a cd tonight for the first time, from  
within the audio window. Where does the file go? After I quit the  
song and tried to open again, the file could not be found. I tried  
importing again. When I put the CD in iTunes opened up and somehow  
renamed the CD "John Ford Radio"!? Anyway, I figured out that once  
the file was in the audio window I used the "move" function to copy  
the file to the song folder.

Is there an easier way to do this?
