Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hi Man,
thanks for the info, the only things that run on USB are a BCR2000,  
AMT8 midi, and a Radikal Tech SAC 2.2 controller
and all work fine. (phew :-)
Computers used G4 desktop (DP1.4 and Powerbook G4 1.4) Both still  
functioning lol.
Will update the desktop this spring if the god of $$���� permits it.

sorry to hear about the USB trouble, IME the RME interface, and PCMIA  
cards are very stable.
Maybe a PCMIA card with USB will do the trick? Bypass the usual  
(crowded & bad) USB bus?
Solved some issues here with the SAC 2.2 (didn't want to "talk back"  
to the computer) by using a stock PCI - USB card.
And also a USB cable with a little amplifier. (have long cables)
Also had some firewire issues which were solved by using a dedicated  
firewire amplifier. (not a hub, with passive amplifier, that didn't  
work)

The Agere chip issue is not related however. New reports say the last  
apple laptops have TI chips again, have not been able to test myself  
though.

I'll have a look at Torq DJ, was planning however another Pioneer CD  
player, since it's closer to spinning vinyl.
(and I love doing that) :-D
