There are many cool ways to do this in Logic. You can use tempo-locked LFOs. You can draw automation curves for various synth parameters and quantize them. You can put a gate after a synth patch and quantize-automate it as well. I use CamelAudio's CamelSpace to accomplish this more directly. You can use Ultrabeat as a tempo-locked synth as well. I also use 3rd-party synths with strong arpeggiator/sequencers, like Zebra and Papen Blue.
