I'm on an intel Mac with Tiger and Logic 8, and I've had a few  
problems with Core Audio, where very occasionally when I launch Logic  
I get no sound, and if I launch Audio/Midi it hangs.  It hasn't  
happened lately, and when it did, a reboot fixed the problem.  I've  
had none of the other problems people here have described though.

I usually use my Firepod, but occasionally fire up the old 828, and  
haven't had any problems with it at all.   Here's my version numbers  
on everything.  Do you have the same setup?

Mac Pro 2x2GHz Dual-Core Xeon
Mac OS 10.4.11
Logic 8.01
MOTU Audio Setup 1.4

Audio Prefs:  16-bit, 44.1kHz, 64 sample buffer
