Hi list, I posted about this a few weeks ago and no-one popped up with exactly the same problem, though this all seems related. I've had problems with an Edirol FA-101 Firewire interface since I upgraded to an Intel Mac Pro, using Leopard. The interface causes a Kernel panic if switched on after the Mac is on, or when the Mac comes out of sleep and the FA-101 is already on. I was not able to figure whether this was an Intel Mac or Leopard issue. I found a thread on the Apple Forums (I think) which suggested that it was a 'known issue' that was caused by a combination of both. I'm hoping that The coming 10.5.3 upgrade will sort us all out! By the way, I have an original Motu 2408 interface and PCI card, rescued out of my old G4 AGP, and am pretty sure that it will not be compatible with the Mac Pro. Is it still possible to obtain compatible PCI cards separately? Thanks!
