Re: Core Audio/MOTU 828 problems also

2008-05-17 by Gil Gillian

Hi, I may be totally off track here, but, when I upped from 7 to 8
there were various problems with files and structures used by 7 that
are not deleted by 8, but are replaced by other directories. This
would be fine except that some of the core audio and midi stuff looks
at the old 7 files, which caused a few problems until I'd found and
deleted them. The other thing that springs to mind is any drivers -
always worth checking that the latest drivers (relevant to the device
and the operating system) are installed. One other thing, a previosu
post mentioned soemthing about sample rate locking; perhaps a word
clock interface issue? Hope you find the holy grail. I'm using MOTU
2408 with Tascam DM-24 and G5 Dual and it runs faultlessly.

Good luck,
Gil Gillian
