Whoa Greg! You are always so practical! I transcribe by ear. I worked in a record company in the 70s as an intern under the orchestrator of the Lassie Show (Bob Porter) who could write arrangements for a full orchestra very quickly. Apparently, it is a lost art. In response to Greg's suggestions (see below): Absolutely! Either play to a click, drum loop or something that indicates time, (could be real drums, etc.) and tune to standard pitch. I certainly could give each person a MIDI file of their song which they could then import into their systems. t ----- Original Message ----- From: GAmoore@... It seems that once you have gone to the trouble of transcribing the song, you could also give them a midi file of their song which they could import into logic, to make a fuller arrangement. greg ************** Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges?
