That equipment list is from his personal studio, a lot of plug ins. Although most people would say you can't hear the difference, he agrees that you do hear a difference. Although it is a lot of trouble to use external preamps, etc,, if there is a lot of money riding on it ---like a nice label deal ---it's always worth it.
