Hi, it should be fine. I've done this a number of times. However all electrical supplies should be approached with care. (If in doubt don't die.) My experience is UK based and may not apply anywhere else. You may wish to check that all elec feeds to the stage are from the same phase, that the generator is fully regulated, and it has been installed professionally with certified earthing.
