A few suggestions : 1. Go into the Audio-Midi utility and go into test mode to see if sound comes out 2. Try moving the midi sequence to a softsynth and see if it sounds. Sometimes you can have the midi channel set to something wrong in the sequence. 3. Next, take a midi sequence and put it on the track in the arrange window, and look if the midi monitor on the transport is showing any indication of midi activity. 4. double check the port numbers are set right. 5. change midi cables. 6. make sure the hardware is set to respond to midi. Every keyboard can be set to just play and ignore midi, or respond to external midi, or both. 7. put headphones on, and plug them straight into the keyboard and try playing a note and see if you hear anything. -----Original Message----- From: ruthsboy1 <ruthsboy1@yahoo.com> To: Logic_Cafe@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wed, Sep 9, 2009 6:44 pm Subject: [Logic_Cafe] Midi Out? Ok...I've been trying to hear my keyboard through my headphones from my MOTU's 828 mk3 for 3 days now and I still got nothing. I've narrowed the problem down to the fact that logic is not sending midi info out to the keyboard's built in tone generator. Midi Goes in (I can record), But midi does'nt go out as indicated by the LCD on my MOTU interface. Does anybody have any advice. =0 A
