Hi Ya, It's down to speed and ease of use. The lessons move fast and it's not each pupil I want to separate but the exercises within that pupils lesson. We flow VERY quickly from one exercise to the next as it's a process of building muscle memory and we use one exercise to set up one response before moving fast to another before the sensation is lost. I want to be able to hit a command and know that I have a new track without pausing. Additionally.... the other teachers are not sound engineers or Logic users and I really don't need another task! With an average 12-14 hour working day, I'm all about tools to make life easier :-) G Gareth Henderson HL Studios, Southampton, Hampshire t: +44 (0)2380 487669 e: gareth@hlstudios.co.uk w: http://www.hlstudios.co.uk On 22 May 2010, at 09:54, GAmoore@... wrote: > Why don't you just insist on a few seconds of silence or cut the mic > inbetween singers.
