He is saying it *gets rid* of the ground noise you get if you use the
analog output.

I have presonus central station too.

I like its feature set and its sound. I am not too sold on Presonus's
quality control though.

When this thing first came there was no connected on the end of the
power supply that connected the power supply to the unit (why oh why
not just properly shield it and put the fucking thing inside the case
anyway.....?). The are pretty easy to pop out if you touch them the
wrong way. The when the faders were zeroed the knobs were pointing
every which way when it came out of the box (no big deal to pull them
off and put them on correctly but *why didn't they do that at the
factory*?) What is worst is I have had a problem with an intermittent
failure of the left side in the cue circuit and the thing is still only
2 months old. My one last complaint is that the headphone amps are
wimpy and I simply cannot get enough juice out of them to use them for
a loud session.

I also borrowed a Presonus Digimax from a friend and it is kind of the
same story. It sounds great and has a decent feature set but he had
only used the unit about twice and already the input of the #1 channel
was broken in such a way that the gain was always on about 1100 no
matter what you did. So basically only 7 of it's channels worked.

Like I say I think their products are OK but their quality control
sucks big time.
