EXS doesn't see all of my samples?

Hello group, I was wondering if anyone can tell me why my EXS sampler doesn't see all of my samples. I created an alias and put it in the sampler intruments folder with other aliases that do work. The just don't show up in the pull-down menu. I am running Logic Pro 7.01. Thanks for all anticipated help.
